Bruce Pit is a year round off leash area in the National Capital Greenbelt. The National Capital Commission identifies Bruce Pit as one of two off leash dog areas in the Greenbelt. Dogs are not allowed on natural Greenbelt trails during winter, but Bruce Pit remains an approved off leash location. A visitor report from 2022 mentioned that water was not available along the trails. Bring water and check conditions before you go.
